Serving at Two Rivers 

At Two Rivers, the "third C" that makes up our mission is "Compassion for Others."  We believe the Gospel news that calls us to worship also calls us to move into our world in the service of others.  Here is how you can serve with our community:

Sandpiper Visits

The first Thursday of each month at 11 a.m. we visit the Sandpiper nursing and rehabilitation center in Mt. Pleasant.  We lead a truly fun time of singing "oldies" and hymns that the residents love.  We also share a devotional and prayer time with them.  If you would like to join in this hour-ling visitation, call Marie Lannie at 856-2322.

North Charleston Reads

Join North Charleston Elementary School in a community wide reading program to promote literacy. You may register at our information table or contact Deborah Bobo (school librarian) at 745-7107.

  • Attend kick-off on Tuesday, Sept 14th at 8am
  • Come in for 30 minutes once a month (9months)
  • Read to the class and check on students progress
  • Attend mid-year celebration in December

In Our Church

We have opportunities to get involved within our church community as well.  Here are a few:

  • Children's Worship:  We are looking for two more couples/volunteers to lead our kids ages 3-5 in their own time of worship and learning.  Contact Hannah Ball for more details.
  • Nursery Volunteers:  Join our volunteer nursery staff to help care for our young ones during Sunday worship.  Volunteers only serve once every 6-8 weeks.  Contact Kelly Shealy for more information.
  • Sunday set-up.  As a young church plant, we always enjoy help the hour before Sunday worship as we set-up at North Charleston Elementary school.  If you would like to be a part of our set-up team, contact Pastor Phil at 259-4477, or just show up at 9:30 a.m.!
  • Others include Men's Fellowship organizer, prayer list coordinator, and Sunday "yard" sign keeper. Contact Phil Stogner if you would like to help with these.
